I checked my Facebook account two hours ago and here’s what transpired:

Disclaimers:

1) I understand that the lady who sent the message was agonized and I feel bad for her. At the same time, I just wanted to be clear about how the manner in which she sent her message across could have put the receiver in an unfriendly disposition. I’ve received a number of messages regarding posers and they were always in forms of inquiries which I believe is how it should be. They ask, I answer. Until we are sure of our information, we should never approach people in an accusing manner.

2) Girls, if your boyfriends spend time chatting with strangers online, maybe you should rethink being with them. OK I’m kidding. On second thought, I mean it pala so I’m not. This isn’t the first time someone told me about their boyfriend or a guy friend getting fooled online by a girl with a fake profile just to “hit it off” and “get it on” with them.

3) Be discerning of malicious online activity. Sabi nga, think before you click! Kapag naloko kayo, wala kayong ibang pwedeng sisihin kundi sarili niyo. So always be wary.

4) Read a book instead. Go to the mall. Spend time with your family. Watch a movie with your friends. Eat out. Kung tipid hits at hindi kayo mahilig magbasa, watch TV series. Personal favorites ko ngayon ay Modern Family, The Vampire Diaries, tsaka The Walking Dead. Maganda din daw Suits, ‘yun plano ko panoorin next.

5) Gusto ko lang talaga sabihin na ‘wag na kayo mag chat online kung hindi niyo personal na kilala yung ka-chat niyo. Kung for fun edi go bahala kayo. But if you know that it could reach a point wherein loved ones will be affected, ‘wag na lang. Read a book na lang talaga, or magluto, mag gym, manood ng TV, alamin ang current events. Kung ayaw niyo talaga, itulog niyo na lang para blooming kayo paggising.

Bottom line, ‘wag manloko at ‘wag magpaloko! Sayang lang sa oras. Ang dami nating ibang pwedeng gawin na ikabubuti ng buhay natin at ng mga kapwa natin. Pag nanloloko kayo, at the end of the day, wala kayong ibang naloko kundi sarili niyo dahil ginawa niyong isang malaking kalokohan ang isang araw sa buhay niyo na hindi niyo na mababalik. ‘Wag ganon.
