Fort Night

Last Tuesday, Maxx celebrated the eve of her 25th birthday at Prive Luxury Club at The Fort Strip. Mix and I decided to have dinner first at The Stock Market since it’s just near Prive.

I liked the cozy ambiance of The Stock Market. The high ceiling was complemented by the homey interior and warm lighting that immediately made us feel at home.

Mix got the Fork Tender Short Ribs

To cut to the chase, he didn’t like it. I tried it and shared the same sentiment. It tasted like ordinary mechado.

The mashed potato, on the other hand, was really good. Consuelo.

I got the ribs and it, together with everything else on the plate, I found enjoyable.

I especially loved how tender and tasty the meat was. I shared my dish with Mix to lift his spirit a bit.

We tried two dishes, one was a hit and the other was a miss. I’d personally dine there again. I think they have more good food to offer and I’d like to try their other dishes one of these days. Mix however has officially closed his doors.

We had Krispy Kreme donuts for dessert then window shopped while killing time. Mix checked out an iMac while I checked out Pedro and Aldo for shoes because I just realized that I haven’t gotten new shoes in such a long time. I am so proud of myself for slowly learning to be a reasonable shopper. I am also happy that I invested on my Stella Luna and Schutz pairs. They never fail me.

We ended the night at Maxx’s birthday bash and had a great time dancing the night away.

It was nice seeing my former boss, too. He looked stunning as ever.
